This course is designed for nurses who aspire to become a medical staff on a cruise ship, gaining the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond effectively in medical emergencies. The course covers a range of topics related to medical response, patient assessment, basic life support, and communication skills.
Course Intended Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this training, participants should be able to:
- Understand the function of the Medical emergency response team onboard Cruise Ships
- Familiarize on each member’s responsibilities
- Perform the tasks being carried out by the Medical Emergency Response Team
- Perform water safety in the maritime setting.
