Compass Training Center has, once again, raised the notch of awareness and competence for some of the country’s ship superintendents, masters and fleet officers relating to the OCIMF Ship Inspection Reports (SIRE) Programme and oil company tanker vetting systems.
The new course, as pioneered by Compass, serves as a response to the increasing demand of manning companies for a SIRE and Tanker Vetting Seminar to advance the knowledge and performance of their marine officers and in-house trainers.
In its goal to continuously bring quality trainings, it has once again conducted a two-day SIRE and Tanker Vetting Seminar last March 26 and 27 at the Century Park Plaza Hotel, to familiarize tanker officers and training managers with the issues associated with tanker spot-chartering, vetting systems and inspections.
